Here’s a fairly interesting request we had come in: "the DJ has done the arrangement and all the details have been cleared on their end, we just need a guide score for our live performers to follow for the gig... and that’s all I can tell you!"

Creating the score for the 2026 short film Deerstalker was an interesting one, requiring a still ambience that did not feel stagnant, allowing for a natural space and an ancient threat. The score needed to provide an unsettled tension throughout with moments of sheer panic.

This was a high-profile, quick-turnaround project destined for a performance at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The music needed to be instantly accessible for musicians to sight-read under pressure.
