It is always an interesting experience and good fun providing music for William at Media Tracks. We have had our library music placed all over the world and get a fair few synchronisations from many shows such as Newstime and Beauty & The Nerd.

Our most recent request was to provide music for a new album that re-imagines the iconic theme of Ravel’s Bolero in many styles. The focus is capturing the essence of the bolero in contemporary genres using modern production techniques.

Ravel’s music is now coming into the public domain and can be freely arranged this year so we are creating a number of versions, as a compilation of composers on the album, to cover a range of sync possibilities focusing on one of his most recognisable themes in classical music.

As this album is going to contain a number of writers we only need to provide a couple of tracks so we have gone for the light and an innocently playful toybox approach, and all out festive orchestra for the other track.

Both our tracks are so joyful and full of excitement, check the release out here:
