See Amid The Winter Snow is an arrangement of the well known carol by Edward Caswall first published in 1858. This arrangement for brass band takes theme from Sir john Goss' hymn tune humility; a hymn tune also referred to as the hymn for Christmas Day which was specifically written for this carol. This concert work passes the gentle theme around the different sections of the band creating variations of the thematic material with each iteration.
